Claremont Fan Court hosts London networking event

City and Business Networking Event 2019
On Wednesday 6 March 2019 Claremont Fan Court School hosted the first of its industry specific networking events at The Institute of Directors, the UK’s largest membership organisation for business leaders, located on Pall Mall. The event was free and aimed at parents, alumni and friends of the School working in the City.

We were privileged to welcome, current parent and friend of the School, Jo Paisley, co-found of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, who talked us briefly through her career, from Bank of England, travelling in Australia, stress testing, HSBC and working at GARP Institute.

We were also delighted to welcome parents and alumni from a range of institutions including Natwest, Guy Carpenter Ltd, Lewis Silkin LLP, KPMG and Bupa, to name a few.

Canapés and drinks were on offer throughout the evening with the opportunity to network before and after the guest speaker.

We were especially delighted to welcome back a number of alumni including, Robert Chase (Class of 1961, Cayley); Victoria Carter, nee Lazarus (Class of 1977, Esher); Nicola Mallet, nee Hargreaves (Class of 1977, Radnor); Philippa Blackstone, nee Pip Hargreaves (Class of 1979, Radnor); Graham White (Class of 1967, Macgregor) and Jackie Beesley, nee Shepperdson (Class of 1991, Esher).

As well as Headmaster Mr William Brierly, Head of Preparatory School Mrs Helen Hutton-Attenborough, Bursar Mrs Jane Jenkins, Head of Faculty Mr David Ridings and School Governor Mr Stephen Eggins.

Please join us for our next event on Thursday 6 June 2019 at the Bankside Gallery on London’s Southbank for our London Reception 2019. The event is open to all, with a focus on those working in the arts and media industries, as well as anyone with an interest in the arts. The exhibition in residency at the Bankside Gallery will be from the Society of Graphic Fine Arts.
